The Secondary School Admission Test, or SSAT, is an admissions test administered to students in grades 5-11 to help determine placement into independent or private junior high and high schools. There are two levels of the test: the Lower level for students in grades 5-7 and the Upper level, designed for students in grades 8-11. The Ivy Key program is designed to master all parts of the SSAT. Students will learn how to write a flawless yet succinct essay and the strategies to conquer the multiple choice sections that include Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, and Verbal.

| ISEE |

The Independent School Entrance Examination, or ISEE, is an entrance exam used by many independent schools and magnet schools in the United States. The ISEE has three levels: the Lower level, for entrance in grades 5-6; Middle level, for entrance in grades 7-8; Upper level, for entrance in grades 9-12. The Ivy Key program is designed to master all five sections of the ISEE from verbal reasoning to quantitative reasoning to reading comprehension to mathematics and essay writing.

| SHSAT |

The SHSAT, or Specialized High School Admission’s Test, is used for admissions to the specialized high schools in New York City. It is administered to 8th and 9th grade students in the city in late October. The Ivy Key program provides students with patented strategies and test-taking methods to master the SHSAT’s English and Math sections. Students are taught how to answer the multiple choice questions in a timely and efficient manner.

| Regents |
|
The Regents are mandatory in New York State through the New York State Education Department. To receive a regular high school diploma, students in New York State must pass, with a score of 65 or higher. The Ivy Key program is designed to teach core concepts so that high school students have a complete understanding of the respective subject matter. Once core concepts are learned, students are provided with The Ivy Key’s patented test-taking strategies to maximize their time and score.
