The SAT Reasoning Test is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The College Board claims that the SAT can determine whether or not a person is ready for college. The SAT is scored out of 2400 and is broken into 3 distinct sections: Mathematics, Writing and Critical Reading. The Ivy Key program is designed to teach students core math and English concepts. Advanced Placement tests, or AP tests, are used to determine how much a student has learned in his or her college-level AP classes. The College Board administers these 37 different subject tests. AP tests are graded on a scale of 1-5. Depending on the specific requirements of a college, students can use a strong test score to acquire college credit or receive placement in advanced classes. The ACT is a standardized test for high school achievement and college admissions in the United States. Some students who perform poorly on the SAT find that they perform better on the ACT. The ACT consists of four tests: English, Math, Reading, and Science Reasoning. The Ivy Key program is designed to teach students core math, English and science concepts. | Regents |

The Regents are mandatory in New York State through the New York State Education Department. To receive a regular high school diploma, students in New York State must pass, with a score of 65 or higher. The Ivy Key program is designed to teach core concepts so that high school students have a complete understanding of the respective subject matter.
